Sensing Material Synthesis

Developing of sensor systems that provide an effective, rapid detection of target analytes is an ongoing focus in supramolecular and biological chemistry. With their high sensitivity, fast response time, and technical simplicity as advantages, colorimetric and fluorescent probes have gained a great deal of attention for both analytical sensing and optical imaging. We are currently developing simple fluorescent and colorimetric chemosensors for biologically and environmentally important metal ions.
